Boy oh Boy, I have been in the kitchen in my little rocking chair since I was about three years old. My mother is a southern woman and she instilled in me at a very young age how important it was to know how to keep a house and to maintain harmony within your home. I use to have an orange cookbook that I made from an old reading book of mines (well actually I still have it) that every Sunday when I cooked a meal, I would have to write down the recipes. After I gathered up enough recipes, I would then be in charge of cooking dinner at least twice per week.

So, you say it can be a headache if you weren’t taught how to do those things or you just get so frustrated with trying to keep house. Well, I want to share with you three reasons why you are frustrated with homemaking:

3 Reasons Why Moms Are Frustrated With Homemaking

  • Trying to be perfect: There is no such thing as the perfect wife, perfect mom; you just have to be the best you that you can be and roll with the punches.
  • Comparing yourself to other wives and moms: This one right here will definitely keep you overwhelmed because you trying to be someone that you are not. I can’t tell you how many times I see other moms and wives competing with each other. It is a complete waste of time.
  • Not working with what’s working for you: You keep allowing other people to dictate how you run your household. I always say, whatever is working for you, keep doing that and leave the rest to the birds.

I have gotten my hands on some great resources that are sure to help you navigate within your home and create some systems that will eliminate the stress. Not only that, but help you have better relationships with your spouse and kiddos. I want all moms around the world to have harmony within their homes.
