Super Bowl 52 game was one of the fun games that I’ve watched in years! Now, I’m not a huge fan of football mainly because I don’t understand it but I did watch it this past weekend. My all-time favorite part of watching the game is the halftime show. I look forward to seeing which of my favorite celebrities will perform. This year, I have to say that Justin Timberlake did an amazing tribute to Prince. No matter how many times I see that Prince is gone, I still can’t believe it. He was one of the best performers to ever have lived.

Every year, I look for little lessons that I can learn from the game that will help me in my own life. This year, I’m going to share with you what I took away from it all. So, sit back, relax and have a glass of wine. I hope you will be able to use some of these lessons in your own life.

5 Things The Super Bowl game Taught Me

1.) Anything can be fun if you allow it. Even though I have no clue about football, I got a kick out of seeing all the Eagle and Patriot fans show their spirit. As a former cheerleader, I remember how exciting it was to wear our team colors and cheer all day for our team.

2.) Laughter is good for the soul. By now, you all know that I love a great laugh. But the funniest part was Kevin Hart and his crew. I swear I think he had one too many to drink cause he was lit and hilarious.

3.) You Are Always A Winner. It doesn’t matter to me who won the game, but seeing how hard they put forth the effort to win made it all worthwhile. I always say it doesn’t matter who won as long as you gave it your all, then you will always be a winner in my book.

4.) You Can build a legacy that will outlive your life. I say that to say that I’m building a legacy that my children will one day be proud to carry on after I’m gone to glory. When Justin Timberlake did that tribute to Prince, I cried because it was so beautiful to see him sing one of Prince greatest hits. I don’t think there will ever be another Prince. Believe it or not, I had a chance to attend one of Prince party when I lived in Chanhassen, Minnesota, but I always fell asleep LOL.

5.) Keep working on yourself. No matter how great of a person you are, there is always room for improvement. Every day, I strive to be a better woman than I was before. Never, get so caught up in the hype that you lose yourself trying to be someone else that you were not born to be.
